So Annoying!
Where did I put that paper??? Oh! How crazy!!! More than half the work would be done if I could just think where it is. Attic? Some binder somewhere? Box? Bookcase? No, I looked there. Aargh! How incredibly annoying! Three and a half years is far too long for someone with three kids under four to expect to be able to keep track of a piece of scrap paper.

You should have digitized it. Then, you could glare at your computer, knowing full well that your paper is stored right there in front of you, and searched the hard drive unable to find it... . ;-)
Maybe you should tell your husband to clean up the attic.
