I put A2 to bed tonight. Before I put him to bed, I always read him a Bible story. Tonight, we were ready for the story of Baby Jesus. It's a pretty simple Bible story book. It's about all I can do to keep his attention on it for more than two minutes. It tells the stories clearly, simply, and very briefly.
Tonight, I pointed to Baby Jesus several times, saying, "Je-sus. Je-sus." Finally, he said, "Dee-dee." Then he signed "Jesus" (he doesn't use his middle finger properly, just puts his hands together twice on opposite sides). Then he started humming Jesus Loves Me and signing "Jesus" and "me."
