Coughing

A is sick. She is coughing so horribly, especially at night. And I am mad. The Dr. (as usual) wouldn't listen to me try to explain how very bad it is. (After all, she's not coughing in his office, so it can't be that bad.) So he prescribed...you guessed it...breathing treatments. Know how much good those do? Pth. Nothing. All she does all night (and during naps) is cough, cry, cough, cry, cough, vomit, cry. And all I do is rub her back, occasionally change her bedding, and lay in my bed feeling helpless and extremely tired. Yes, I'm very frustrated. Thanks for listening.
